This was quite an interesting shoot for me, because it was very simple, but effective I felt. I was sat in the back of the car when the window steamed up, so I thought to myself that it would be a good idea to create something in the condensation to photograph. This whole idea was based around Dila Kaplan's work, and I think it worked really well. I wrote the word 'Help' in the condensation and then I took continuous photos of the window in order to capture the different backgrounds that we passed by in the car. This is why I think the results turned out to be different and unusual, because the background was constantly changing due to the speed that the car was going, and in some of the shots you can see that the background is slightly blurred but the word 'Help' is in focus ; and I felt that this really fitted well with my concept. The concept was simple, I wanted to show this theory that people don't always feel the same as how they look. I wanted the window to represent a person, the background to represent society, and the word 'Help' to represent the person's silent plea. With the background changing, this is to show that people usually just get on with their everyday tasks and usually fail to see someone's problems. This is my favourite shoot so far and Dila Kaplan has inspired my greatly.
